At Holy Rosary, the curriculum hours for RE are non-negotiable. 10% of curriculum time is devoted to RE with one lesson taking place in every year group on a Monday morning, to ensure that pupils begin their week with Christ at the centre.

We follow the diocesan scheme, ‘Learning and Growing as the People of God.’ Our curriculum is carefully designed so that it builds on prior knowledge and encourages children to think deeply about how their learning can impact on their lives. Our children enjoy a range of activities including drama, art, music, writing and reflection within their RE lessons and are very positive about their religious education learning experiences.
